Peace and serenity! Join us camping at our fully serviced Recreational Vehicle (RV) lots located on the south shore of Lesser Slave Lake. Our campground is located 2.5 km west of the village of Joussard. If you choose the joy of living in an eco-friendly environment that focuses on the family, you’ll love it here!
Seasonal Lots
We have approximately 50 seasonal camping lots. Each lot includes water, sewer, 30 amp power, fire pit, picnic table with lot number, garbage pick-up and the use of our boat launch. Our seasonal campers bring their RVs in approximately one week prior to May long weekend. The water is shut off to the campsite on the Monday of September long weekend. We encourage our seasonal people to park their boats in the boat park rather than at their lots.
Seasonal guests at Cattail Campground are focused on a quiet family lifestyle. Our people are actively engaged with their children and grandchildren just having fun! They are frequently found on the 2 acre sandy playground playing, riding their bicycles around the park or boating on our healthy lake.
Our seasonal people all respect our fragile boreal forest environment. People who are seasonal at Cattail Campground agree to plant trees on their lots. They watch over the little seedlings. They agree to use solar lighting on their seasonal lots. They agree to hang bird feeders or bird houses and to water their plants as much as possible from rain barrels. They respect the wild life, the birds and the plant life that is found in abundance at Cattail Campground.
