High Prairie Elks Lodge #279

We are a longstanding member of the Elks of Canada; with a shared mission to server our community through volunteer efforts and funding. We currently operate two community halls and one RV campground. Halls are available for the public to rent for fundraising events, social events and private functions.

We have been an integral part in the process and growth of our community. From constructing High Prairie’s first outdoor skating rink in 1940, to opening the first library in town and the first swimming pool. We continue to make financial donations to many community organizations and groups. In 2018 we donated over $20,000 to local groups; and over $5,000 to national charities (Make a wish foundation, MS Society, Stars Air ambulance, and the Elks and Royal Purple Funds for Children).
